All new applicants for licensure will be required to undergo a criminal history background check. After you have initiated the application process and paid applicable fees, the Board will mail a fingerprint card to you. No license will be issued until the Board office has received and reviewed the background results.

  Steps to Licensure by Examination
  *Any applicant for licensure in Mississippi must have taken or take the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE) that correlates with the discipline in which they obtained their physical therapy degree. Contact the Board for further information.*
